CAFAA 51st ANNUAL CONFERENCE (virtual) 02/03-02/05/2021
No planes, trains or automobiles; no bags to pack, no strange hotel room to check out. Even if those changes could be seen as positive, there is definitely a downside in not being able to meet and gather with your peers.
Our goal is to provide you with meaningful and worthwhile experiences through your participation and interaction via the virtual event platform that we will be using.
What will be familiar to you, is the use of video conferencing communications that has become the norm for a few to many people to virtually gather in our COVID 19 world. We will be using this form of teleconferencing for our regular program schedule; we will conduct general sessions, educational sessions, a roundtable meeting, a vendor reception and provide for various networking opportunities.
The first day, Wednesday Feb. 03, 2021 will be for Networking. We will host a short Presidential Reception, followed by networking which can be ad-hoc with the Exhibitors, or online video meetings that you schedule in advance, impromptu meeting with the vendors, or with other attendee(s). Once registered, you can access the event site, see who else is attending, exhibiting or sponsoring and can pre-schedule a meeting with them.
The second day, Thursday Feb 04, 2021 will be the annual meeting reports, a conference session, a roundtable/Q&A, and the vendor reception.
Each vendor will have their own web page on the event site, which you will click to enter their booth to hear, see and interact with them.
Friday, Feb. 05, 2021 will be the last day and will comprised of concurrent learning sessions that you decide which to attend. This will be followed by a closing of the annual conference and then a General CAFAA meeting. All sessions will be recorded, so for the other concurrent session(s) that you do not attend, you will be able to view the recording on the event site, up to 90 days after the conference.
We hope that you will decide that there is still the opportunity to learn and to have meaningful interactions with others who attend our virtual event, by registering and attending.
CAFAA would like to send each attendee and exhibitor a Welcome Package. It will contain:
In order for us to send the beverage to you, you must agree to receive the beverage and that you are over the age of 21.
If you decline, we will send the welcome package without the beverage.
In any event, we will ask each attendee and exhibitor for a mailing address to send the package as well as the Raffle gift in the event that you are a winner. This address does not need to be your business address. CAFAA will not share this information with others.
If you are an active FPO, we ask that you provide us with your work email address rather than a personal email address
RAFFLES: as a way to encourage you to attend and participate. We will raffle gifts to those that attend the various sessions and events. The event platform software can provide CAFAA with the attendees and exhibitors who login to the event. We will use that information to draw the Raffle winners.
Conference registration will open in December, 2020.
