FUNDAMENTALS OF FIRE ALARM PLAN REVIEW

Class limited to 38 students

COURSE DISCRIPTION

This course is designed to familiarize the attendee with the requirements of the California Fire Code (CFC) and other standards as they pertain to fire alarm shop drawings and other project documents required to be submitted by contractors, engineers, or other qualified design professionals.  Specific federal or local jurisdictional requirements are not intended to be covered but would be welcome examples for discussion during the course presentation.  

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This seminar is intended for authorities having jurisdiction involved in fire alarm system plan review, contractors providing submittal documentation for plan review and fire alarm system designers.

7 contract hours of Continuing Education – Participant must attend the entire training course to receive credit.  A “Certificate of Completion” will be provided at the end of the course.

  WHAT DOES IT COST TO ATTENDEES

Employees of CAFAA member companies and Active FPOs:

$199 ea. / 3 or more from same org. or company $ 179 ea.

Non CAFAA members:

$249 ea. / 3 or more from same company $229 ea. 

Registration includes AM refreshments, Lunch and a student handout.     

MATERIAL PROVIDED

Students will be provided a paper copy of the presentation and a set of drawings to reference.   

WHAT TO BRING

           Students should bring a calculator, pencils and note paper.
